On March 3, head of Interlingua translation laboratory Saidat Magomedova, associate professor of the English Philology Department Diana Emirova and other members of the department organized an online meeting of 3rd year students with an English native speaker Patimat Makhacheva who talked on secondary and higher education in Canada and answered students’ questions.
Communication with a native speaker makes it possible to learn more about the culture and mentality of the people firsthand, overcome the language barrier and understand the importance of learning foreign languages through intercultural communication.
