By the order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, scholarships of the Government of the Russian Federation were appointed. Kamilla Omarova, a master’s student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the Dagestan State University, is among them.⠀
Love for linguistics led Kamilla to the FFL DSU: “I love to learn languages and cultures, it has always been my passion.” Kamilla Omarova is an excellent student, who is actively involved in scientific activities: until the end of the 4th year she was the head of the Student Scientific Society of the FFL, participated and continues to participate in international forums and olympiads. Kamilla has an experience of online participation in conferences in England, Germany, Poland, Italy. Most of Camilla’s scientific articles are devoted to the comparative analysis of English and Chinese languages. Her works have been published in the leading scientific collections.
From the 2nd year, the student went to China for a month, where she studied the language. There she entered Hebei Normal University and won a study grant from the Government of the People’s Republic of China, which pays for her studies. Kamilla studies Chinese language teaching methods at a Hebey university. Now classes are being held remotely, and the student returned to Dagestan, where she is studying at the magistracy of the DSU, teaches English and Chinese online and provides assistance to students who want to enter the universities of the Middle Kingdom. For this, Kamilla even created her own YouTube channel, where she uploads videos about the instructions of learning Chinese and life in this country. “I am also in the process of launching my online Chinese school with native speakers as teachers. Knowledge is given to us to share it with people, ”says Kamilla Omarova.
